'Splen dor' in the Bible
For the choir director; on the Gittith. A Psalm of David.O Lord, our Lord,How majestic is Your name in all the earth,Who have displayed Your splendor above the heavens!
His glory is great through Your salvation,Splendor and majesty You place upon him.
Gird Your sword on Your thigh, O Mighty One,In Your splendor and Your majesty!
You have made his splendor to ceaseAnd cast his throne to the ground.
Splendor and majesty are before Him,Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!O Lord my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty,
On the glorious splendor of Your majestyAnd on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.
